Every Atelier Candela fragrance begins the same way: with our master perfumer, Bernhard Winkler, composing scent the way it has been done in fine perfumery for generations — in deliberate layers of top, heart and base notes that unfold over hours rather than announcing themselves all at once. Each candle is then hand-poured in small batches from a soy wax blend with fine fragrance and essential oils, in a 14 oz vessel that burns for approximately 65 hours on a cotton wick.
